On October 5, the Wuhu City High-Quality Development Conference and the Third-Quarter Key Work Review Meeting launched a collective research tour. During this initiative, a number of major projects across the city—characterized by their commitment to innovation-driven, green, and low-carbon development and their ongoing efforts to bolster endogenous growth momentum—were visited and assessed. Among them, the 350,000-ton polylactic acid project of Puli Si Biotechnology Co., Ltd. received high-level attention from the Wuhu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government.

The research delegation conducted an on-site visit to the project construction site and listened to reports on construction progress and an overview of the company’s development.

All leading officials of the Wuhu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the principal officials of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress and the Municipal Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, as well as the principal officials of the development zones, free trade zones, and relevant municipal departments, attended the collective research visit.

From the very outset of the project, it has received the full participation and strong support of the Wuhu Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal People’s Government, and all levels of leadership within the Sanshan Economic Development Zone.

During the construction phase, leadership at all levels of the Sanshan Economic Development Zone assembled a highly capable team, established a dedicated project task force, and worked with the company to develop detailed construction schedules and plans, proactively addressing various technical and logistical challenges. Thanks to the concerted efforts of all parties, the project successfully overcame the adverse impacts of the pandemic and extreme high-temperature weather, ensuring steady progress.

Looking ahead, PuliSi will remain committed to its mission of “Nature Shapes a Better Life” and strive to achieve the strategic goal of building a bio-based materials industry in Wuhu with an output value of 10 billion yuan and a platform worth 100 billion yuan.
